How many meters is it possible to transport powder?
0 – 50 meters if the transport length does not include a vertical lift of more than 5m and the product density is between 0.5-1.0 kg.. Capacity From about 0.1 ton/h to about 15 ton/hour.
Can IQ OQ PQ documentation be provided?
For piFLOW®premium, we can provide this documentation. It is a template that must be filled in at startup and using the manual that comes with the shipment.
Is there a risk of dust explosion?
Can PIAB vacuum conveyors be used to transport tablets and capsules?
Yes. Provak & Piab has experience in transporting a large selection of tablets and capsules without damaging the tablets.
Powder mix ratio?
By having the right mixture of air and transported product. This is achieved from where the Piab vacuum conveyor pulls the material using our feed adapter accessory. Also read our press document on powder mixing conditions. Contact Provak for further information.
Does provak & piab have a warranty?
A five-year warranty is valid for complete vacuum conveyors excluding electromechanical pumps and controls.
A five-year warranty is valid for vacuum pumps, excluding electromechanical pumps, accessories and controls.
There is a two-year warranty for electromechanical pumps.
A one-year warranty applies to other products.
General warranty principles:
Piab warrants against defects in workmanship and materials under normal use in a proper environment when following the instructions for care, maintenance and inspection described in the relevant Piab manual.
Piab replaces or repairs defective products free of charge, provided that these are returned to Piab and are considered to be covered by the warranty.
It is at Piab's discretion whether a defective product must be sent back to Piab for replacement, or whether the repair must be carried out locally at Piab's expense.
This warranty does not cover wearing parts such as filter elements, seals, hoses, pipe fittings, pipe bends, pinch valves (in line with transported material), reduction gears, etc.
This warranty does not cover subsequent damage caused by defective products.
